It was a half way normal morning at school. This is Red Ribbon Week (try saying that 5 times fast). We had some crazy activities this week. Today is Team Up Against Drugs. We had to wear a team shirt or jersey. Most of the kids took part in it. It is amazing how one little change in the day will have such an influence in the students’ behaviors.
I had the afternoon off. D and I headed to a doctor’s appointment. We were excited to hear the baby’s heartbeat. When they tried to find the heartbeat with the Doppler they had a hard time. Both the nurse and the doctor tried, but failed. I was so scared! The doctor sent me for an ultrasound and there it was…a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat. I was so relieved.
After the appointment, we headed home. We picked up Sweetpea and came home to relax a little.
The rest of our evening we spent at a new bible study D would like to attend weekly. I think it would be great to attend a bible study, but I just don’t know if this was the right fit for me. D has been so excited about it though, so I am going to try for him.
